Summer Soundsystem Tour Update #2

Watch as Ballyhoo! & Mike Pinto hit the west coast from Santa Barbara down through Hollywood, on the tail end of The Summer Soundsystem Tour!
The infamous Ass-quatch comes out of hiding, while Howi explains to the camera how the tour van is now smelling like Feet, McDonalds & Fart!

The Dirtyheads have broken 2 music related records based on Billboard Chart Statistics.

They have the longest running single at #1 on the Alternative Rock charts for a band on an indie label (11 weeks). They were one week away from breaking the record set by the Foo Fighters for the longest stay at number one by any band on the Alt Rock Charts.

They also are the first band on an indie label to hit #1 on the Rock Charts (3 weeks and running as of this week).

We're very proud to have one of our regular bands on The Pier make it to this level. We wish success of this caliber for all of the artists we listen to.

Hello world! Rome here, I'm currently in New York on a day off (kinda). The tour has been nuts! Def do not want to miss any of the shows this summer! They have been the most inspirational monuments in my life. Every city we go to the love is right there welcoming the music that unites us all. We gotta handful of sick new tunes and plan to hit the studio in Oct to do pre-production and release a single!! Thank you guys so much!! Your support is appreciated!!

Two New 'Best Of' Releases

Coming out tomorrow is two new "best of" releases, one from Mad Caddies (Consentual Selections), featuring a couple of new tracks. The other is from Reel Big Fish that also features a bonus disc of acoustic versions of their hits. This certainly has us intrigued.
