Ever since the first time I heard Bob Marley at a young age, I instantly fell in love with the music and message. As I got older, my musical taste evolved to fit my fast-paced way of living and the ORIGINAL Sublime would become a lifelong favorite of mine. At the age of 16, I went to my first reggae show and saw The Expendables open up for Slightly Stoopid at The House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. I haven’t stopped going to shows ever since!

I was born in LA, raised in OC and attended college in SD… you could say I’m proud to call sunny Southern California my home base. I graduated from SDSU in 2012, majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in Media Studies. While in college, I reached out to The Pier for some quotes to help me complete a few writing assignments and they showed nothing but love. Upon graduating, I contacted them once again and was blessed with the opportunity to join this wonderful family while adding to their success for over 2 years.

Nowadays, I am a Music and Lifestyle freelance writer/editor for multiple media outlets including LA Weekly, OC Weekly and my own blog at My mission is to continue spreading the word about the music that I love and the artists that I know put in so much hard work.

Although The Pier and I have parted ways on a mutual agreement, the organization will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish nothing but the best for everyone involved. I want to give a huge shout-out to boss-man, Mike Patti, for being the first to give me a chance at following my dreams as a journalist and connecting me with so many great people in this beautiful reggae scene.

Live Music. Good Vibes. Good Times. That’s what I’m all about!
