Great job on the interview and updates. Looking forward to their new tunes. Planning on checking out the tour this summer. SOJA is opening in my area. I can't imagine 311 bringing the guys out on stage during their set, but, who knows - prove me wrong. I'm not a 311 fan so I'm not even sure where they might fit in unless they do a badass cover.

Just got Everything You Need on vinyl in the mail. Yaay! It is May already and I can't believe that Stoopid plans to really release two albums this year (tri studios and a new studio album) with no release date announced for either I can't help but believe the new studio album won't drop this year. I hope I am wrong.

Bite your tongue buttercup! The TRI tentative release is right about now-ish...Tentative, being the operative word! I have a feeling it will be an in-your-face, unexpected release announcement sure to spark fans' interest.
Like Miles said, they are done with the album and are in final mixing. Waiting game, bro! If there is a band that I'll wait, and wait, and wait for a sick release, it's STOOPID!

Musicbailout has tri tagged for 9/13. Hopefully the studio one is out before then.

Yeah they have got it wrong. That was the date in 2011 they recorded it. I am not trying to rain on anyone's parade but it is almost mid year and we have heard nothing official about either release, I just can't see them releasing both of them so close together this year.

Buttercup and Dillinger, all I'll say is that is not what was directly sent to us at The Pier, as their tentative release date, from inside Stoopid's camp. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't 9/13/11 the original TRI session date? It was only a couple days before they played in AZ on the Seedless Summer Tour and that was the 15 or 16. Sorry, I'm a little hazy on the date
My suggestion would be to hold ur breath for a couple days, a couple weeks, take a couple rips, and before you know it the TRI Studios release will be out. If it is 9/13, which I highly doubt, they have to be adding tons of bonus features and aspects to the DVD that NO ONE has seen yet.
The Pier will have a review up from the FULL DVD before you know it!
Anyone want to bet that it will be a duel, or I guess a triple release for "late summer"? Much like Miles said in the interview.

Ha...yeah hazy is one way of describing it... Fingers crossed. Lets hope the date is off. You never know what you get when you talk with those guys. Not knocking them, i just learned never to take what they say as gospel.
