Tunnel Vision’s ‘Life Without Surfing Part II’ Tour

Hailing from the SoCal beach city of San Clemente, Tunnel Vision continue to take their surf reggae vibes off the waves and across the country. The boys have been steadily making noise in the reggae community and do not plan to quiet down anytime soon. As always, The Pier got the latest scoop on the group’s new tour dates, music and more.

Over the last few years, Tunnel Vision has grown up right in front of us. The band caught the attention of Slightly Stoopid and recorded their debut self-titled album inside the infamous “Lab” before receiving a 3.5 star album review from The Pier.

Tunnel Vision has since played shows with genre-heavyweights Slightly Stoopid along with Seedless, The Movement, and LAW to name a few. The band is coming off a short break from the Spring Blackout U.S. Tour opening for The Expendables and recently kicked off another round across the country.

The Life Without Surfing Part II U.S. Summer Tour just kicked off on July 1st with a series of hometown shows in San Clemente and will continue throughout the summer with a total of 35 shows scheduled. Soon after, the guys will be right back on the road for the Coasts Collide Tour with Resinated! and Perro Bravo.

This young group of talent is living the dream! The three founding members of Tunnel Vision (Hayden Hanson on guitar and vocals, Jacob Hernandez on bass, and Tanner Payan on drums and vocals) grew up and currently live in SoCal where they take to the waves, mountains, and empty pools whenever they are not playing music. They previously worked in the surf industry for Rip Curl and Lost Enterprises starting out in retail before working up the ladder shaping surfboards. If you can’t find them playing a show just look out on the ocean or up in the mountains where you can find them surfing, skateboarding, or snowboarding. Their talent obviously goes beyond music into action sports, and their music heavily reflects that lifestyle.
