Descendents Announce 2018 U.S. Tour Dates

Descendents will hit the road, starting in March, for an 8 month tour that will cover most of the United States. The Punk legends have been recording and touring for 40 years and class is always in session when the Descendents perform.

This tour, much larger than last year’s, will stop 35 times between March and November. Hypercaffium Spazzinate, in true Descendants fashion, was released 12 years after its predecessor (Cool to Be You, 2004) and was received well by fans and critics. The band spent 2017 touring in support of the 2016 record.

In 1977, (you read that right — 1977), the Descendents were formed in Manhattan Beach, California, and went on to become one of the most influential bands in the Southern California punk scene. Throughout its 41 year career, the Descendants have seen several lineup changes, and four hiatuses, however they continue to stay fresh and relevant in the ever-developing music industry with their 1982 classic Milo Goes To College being considered one of the most influential punk-rock records of all time.

Throughout their time in the scene, the Descendents have built more than just a following, but also a legacy. Rock and punk icons like Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus (Blink 182), Mike Burkett (NOFX), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), and many others have admitted that their passions for music and songwriting are deeply rooted in their appreciation of The Descendents.

The Descendents have released 7 full studio albums, 3 EPs, and a handful of live and compilation collections since their inception. You can stream their music or own it via iTunes by clicking HERE!
