The boys are at it again! Beloved Boston MA/Ithaca NY based reggae band John Brown’s Body have officially announced the lineup for their upcoming US tour, and set a date for the release of their new album!
Their full length album Kings and Queens on Easy Star Records is set for release on April 16th. The album is a compilation of twelve songs and is their eighth full-length studio album since the release of 2008’s hit album Amplify. John Brown’s Body has worked closely with Easy Star Records since 2004; the camaraderie, passion and drive they share to produce a quality reggae sound is certainly evident.
There is no doubt that JBB’s new album will send you for a tail spin. Their latest track “Old John Brown”, perfectly exemplifies the blend of classic JBB vocals, and a magical upbeat new sound.
Elliott Martin sings, “Is it your talents? To care for the children you know? One of them might have been stillborn…Even old John Brown spoke of many miles”.
You’re bound to be mesmerized by the intense lyrics and wet dubby compilations of Kings and Queens. “Old John Brown” is available for FREE download on John Brown’s Body Facebook page by clicking HERE.
