With just a couple weeks left on the Winter BrewHaHa tour with Ballyhoo! and Pacific Dub, Passafire has announced their next run. This spring, Passafire will play 25 dates on the Vines Spring Tour with special guests Lullwater!
Last November, Passafire signed to Easy Star Records to release their fifth studio record, Vines, a record that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. Now, Passafire will continue to tour in support of the record, with dates planned up and down the east coast through the second half of March and all through April.
The run kicks off with two nights at The Connection via the Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia. From there, the band will work their way down through South Carolina for three nights in Florida. Passafire is set to play a hometown show at The Jinx in Savannah, Georgia, before heading back up into the Northeast. Playing a variety of states during the next two weeks, the band eventually heads back south for two more nights in Florida.
Playing as direct support on this run will be Athens, Georgia based Rock quartet, Lullwater. Formed in 2007 out of the Athens, GA music scene, the group began to jam in a basement on Lullwater Street, hence their name before moving to Seattle to find that grungier sound they always wanted. In 2011, with the help of London Bridge Studios, and producer Jonathan Plum, the band released their first record, Silhouette. In September on 2013, continuing to evolve those Pacific Northwest influences, the band released their eponymous sophomore album.
