Charlotte, NC has some road warriors with the 3-piece reggae-rock outfit known as Sun-Dried Vibes. While this may be their Road To Cali-Roots tour, the road just barely starts for them following Cali-Roots as the whole tour includes 30+ dates across the US, sharing various shows with The Expanders, Arise Roots, Tatanka, House of Shem and more
The group formed in 2010, and have since then been averaging 275 live shows per year. This upcoming tour will encompass almost three months and over 35 cities across the country. They kicked off their tour on 4/20 in their hometown of Charlotte North Carolina and will wrap things up on 7/11 once again back in Charlotte, NC. In-between 4/20 and 7/11 will be 36 total dates inside 17 different states from east to west, including the California Roots Music & Arts Festival on May 22nd.
Sun-Dried Vibes consists of Zach Fowler on guitar/vocals, Evan Tyler on bass, and Alex Winchester on drums. They have released two full length studio albums that include their debut Give Thanks and their sophomore Back2Square1. “We have a lot of really cool shows coming up,” explains Zach Fowler. “We’re hitting Denver with Tatanka, we’re also hitting Santa Cruz with The Expanders. We’re going to be doing some shows down in San Diego and Santa Barbara with Ease Up, Arise Roots, the Wheeland Brothers, Build a Machine. We’re really excited to get out there and meet a lot of new people and play live for them.”
This year, Sun-Dried Vibes will scale back on the number of shows they play and will redirect their focus on cultivating fans in new markets while continuing to build their already solid foundation along the Eastern Seaboard. Below you’ll find the dates and links to more things Sun-Dried Vibes…
