Building on the momentum captured from their release of “Stay Now” featuring Eric Rachmany of Rebelution in January, The Expendables have recently made a huge announcement. The band will be releasing an EP on May 5 entitled Moment which will feature the already released “Stay Now,” as well as the all-new single “I Won’t Give Up” featuring HIRIE –- two solid tracks in what promises to be an exciting release!
If you had the chance to listen to “Stay Now” featuring Rebelution’s Eric Rachmany – which was released in early January – then you are aware that it’s one of the best tracks from The Expendables in quite some time.

“I Won’t Give Up” picks up right where they left off and identifies itself as another strong single from the Santa Cruz, CA quartet. The song can be described as thematically positive and reviving. “I Won’t Give Up” kicks off with immediate horns and ska elements, coupled with bright instrumentals and strong vocal contributions from Geoff Weers before HIRIE enters to harmonize with the uplifting chorus while displaying her ever-impressive vocal abilities halfway through the track.
Details for Moment are starting to become clearer as the release date approaches. In addition to the release of “I Won’t Give Up” to online retailers and streaming services on March 10, The Expendables also announced that the new album will feature collaborations from hip-hop favorite Tech N9ne and Micah Pueschel from Iration.
The band also unveiled the full track listing via their Facebook page, however the confirmed order of the tracks and album cover art remain to be seen. The full track listing will consist of the following: “Stay Now” — featuring Eric Rachmany. “I Won’t Give Up” — featuring HIRIE. “Goodbye For Now” — featuring Tech N9ne. “Without Love” featuring Micah Pueschel of Iration. “Thinking ‘Bout This One,” and “Pace Yourself.”
