The tireless ever-progressing, national touring outfit from Aberdeen, Maryland, Ballyhoo!. will be hitting the road hard to start 2013 off with a bang! This will be a full-length national tour, spanning coast-to-coast and everywhere in between. Find out all the latest news from Ballyhoo! inside!
Many bands call their tours national tours, but only consist of ten or so show dates. Ballyhoo! is the picture you see next to the definition of a national touring band. This upcoming tour, The Winter Wonderland Tour with special guests, KayaVibe from Florida, will feature 22-dates in less than thirty days. The tour is crammed together in that span due to Ballyhoo!’s major slot on the 311 Caribbean Cruise, beginning on March 1st. All of this touring is on the backend of touring the North America on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, as well as playing supporting acts to Tribal Seeds on their Night & Day Fall Tour 2012. Fans in California that missed Ballyhoo!’s recent stop in the “Golden State” will unfortunately have to hold out until May, when Ballyhoo! makes their debut at the 4th annual California Roots Music & Arts Festival this coming summer.
2013 already appears to be a big year for Ballyhoo!, as the Maryland reggae-punk rockers are gearing up to record their follow album to the 2011 studio release, Daydreams. One aspect that separates Ballyhoo! from other bands is their openness and willing attitude to allow the fans to be a part of all facets of their music.
Along with numerous shows in the near future, Ballyhoo! is also offering their biggest fans a great deal on their next album. Ballyhoo! recently started the Hardcore Hooligan Package, named after their rabid fan base known as “hooligans”, to be fully entrenched in Ballyhoo!’s making of the album. One of the most notable things is that anyone who buys the “Hardcore Hooligan Package” will get their face in a collage inside the album artwork. There will only be 1,000 prints of the special deluxe edition with your face inside, as well as some other great bonuses! Get all the details HERE!
With this upcoming headlining winter tour, a new album being recorded and featured performances on the 311 Caribbean Cruise for the second straight year, as well as the band’s first time gracing the stage at Cali Roots this summer, the demand for Ballyhoo! continues to grow. The chances to see Ballyhoo! will be abundant, so look for the show or shows near you!
