The Grouch & Eligh Join Silverback!

Silverback Music and Management are now representing hip hop duo, The Grouch & Eligh. This is the first time Silverback has ever represented a musical act outside of the rock genre since founded in 1996.

Silverback Music and Management is an independent music company out of Las Angeles, CA. Through the years, they have become a platform for independent artists to establish themselves in the extremely versatile music industry. Silverback acts as a multi-faceted partner to its artists, identifying their creative and conceptual goals and cultivating the artist’s vision and raw talent.

Their current artist roster consists of Slightly Stoopid, Fishbone, The Expendables, The Beautiful Girls, Mat McHugh, The Aggrolites, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, The Pimps of Joytime, and now The Grouch & Eligh.

Bay area natives, The Grouch & Eligh, have been collaboratively active in the underground hip hop since 1998. Both were members of the independent California based rap group the Living Legends. Through the years both artists have experienced individual success.

The Grouch has put out over a dozen solo releases as well collaborated with other hip hop acts such as Zion I and The CMA. In 2011, The Grouch joined Rebelution on the East Coast leg of the Peace of Mind Tour with Pep Love. Eligh has also experienced independent success with a multitude of solo and collaborative releases.

The Grouch & Eligh have been working on a new project out in Maui, HI. They just finished up touring throughout California and Nevada as a collaborative unit Zion I referred to as Z&G&E. Over the summer, The Grouch & Eligh will join Slightly Stoopid, Atmosphere, Tribal Seeds, and The Budos Band on the Kickin’ Up Dust Tour, for select shows.
