Jack Johnson New Album & Fall Tour

Following his impromptu headlining performance at this year’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, new details have surfaced about the release of Jack Johnson’s sixth studio album and his subsequent Fall tour!

It has been almost three years since the release of his last album. Jack and the band have spent the last few weeks, recording and working on a new album in Jack’s Mango Tree studio with producer Mario Caldato (On and On and In Between Dreams). Jack and the band are happy to announce that they will have new music coming out on September 17th through Jack’s Brushfire Records. From Here To Now To You will be Jack Johnson’s first set of brand new original songs since his 2010 album To The Sea.

The first single, “I Got You,” from the upcoming album, has already hit the airwaves and is available to purchase on iTunes with the full album available for preorder as well. For those of you who prefer a physical copy of the album, the label is working on some great deluxe packages that will feature the album, along with other limited edition items that will be launching on Jack’s store later this summer. Check out the lyric music video below.

Jack, Adam, Merlo and Zach will hit the road this Fall in support of From Here To Now To You. Jack and the band will kick off with a Theater tour in Europe on September 5th, and return to the States with a headline performance at the Life Is Good Festival on September 22 in Canton, MA. From there, inspired by his solo acoustic Hawaiian Islands Theater Tour last year, Jack will play some of the most beautiful and intimate seated theatres in North America. Playing 25 of his 28 fall tour venues in historic theaters, the run includes stops at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre and the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA,

As with all of his tours since 2008, Jack will donate 100% of his tour profits to charity. For the fall tour, Jack and his production team, alongside Reverb, will continue to pave the way in green touring practices and community engagement initiatives. Tour vehicles will be fueled by domestic, sustainable biodiesel wherever possible. Concertgoers will be offered mass transportation options, waste reduction measures will be expanded and single-use disposable water bottles will continue to be eliminated backstage. In addition, the tour will source local food from “farm to stage” produce, offer eco-friendly merchandise, provide free water refill stations and invest in community based carbon offset projects. Details coming soon to Jack’s website.

Through ongoing promotion of the All At Once campaign, Johnson’s fall From Here To Now To You Theater Tour will support over 75 hand-chosen community groups across Europe and North America with direct and matching donations. This year’s All At Once campaign will focus on engaging fans to take action in support of sustainable local food systems and plastic free initiatives.
