Authority Zero to release New Albums!

While Authority Zero is gearing up for their trip to Japan for 6 shows from November 22nd through November 28th, the rest of us fans here in the states will be anxiously awaiting the release of a LIVE Acoustic CD/DVD titled Less Rhythm, More Booze set to release sometime this January!

There’s no release date set for Less Rhythm, More Booze, but they will be promoting it on their winter tour as they’ll be co-headlining with the Voodoo Glow Skulls as that tour is set to begin on January 15th. The name of the tour will be “Rhythm and Booze 2 / Less Rhythm More Booze”.

As far as a new studio record from Authority Zero, the group is looking to go back into the studio sometime in April following their winter tour with Voodoo Glow Skulls. It’s been announced on the group’s Facebook page that they’re aiming to release their 5th studio album sometime during the summer 2012. This will be the bands first studio release the 2010 release of “Stores of Survival” that peaked at #5 on The Heatseekers songs chart.

Authority Zero lead singer Jason Devore, who appears to be a song writing machine, also released his second solo album earlier this year titled “Conviction 2 (The Crooked Path)” on March 8th via Operation Records.

2012 is shaping up to be a good year if your an Authority Zero fan with 1 Acoustic Album/DVD and another Studio with a bad ass winter tour to boot. The Pier will have more information and tour dates as soon as they’re made available to us. Stay tuned!
