Cymbals For Change is a mission-driven artist merchandise company who procures broken, cracked and unused cymbals from professional drummers to transform them into custom-engraved, wearable jewelry so fans can (literally) wear a piece of the band over their hearts & on their ears. A meaningful portion of every single Cymbals For Change sale is reserved for a charity or cause of the drummer or band’s choice.

Cymbals For Change partnered up with Pepper and their drummer, Yesod Williams, to cut & engrave one of Yesod’s cracked cymbals into their famed “Skullconut” logo as necklaces & earrings. In this case a portion of every sale is set aside for Yesod’s Chee Pono Foundation. Chee Pono Foundation’s purpose is to support the dreams of Big Island youth who are limited by the constraints of living on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Each piece has its own unique serial number to showcase its one-of-a-kind limited nature of this project. Less than 200 pieces will be available for sale so grab yours before they’re gone!
The jewelry will officially go on-sale Thursday, October 24 on Cymbals For Change‘s website. Click on the “Products” tab then click “Pepper” to learn more about the collaboration and to buy some for yourself.

The Cymbal Information

Yesod’s cracked Zildjian Z crash cymbal we cut was used on every Pepper show of 2023 which featured the 20 years of Kona Town tour and a summer tour with Stick Figure. It was also used at Kona Town Recording on from Pepper’s newest album “Makai.”  We’ve since transformed it into limited production, custom-engraved Pepper “Skullconut” necklaces & earrings.
