From mellow acoustic tracks to soulful melodies and upbeat tunes to keep us warm, this autumn’s new releases offer something for every mood. Here are our top fall favorites you won’t want to miss.
Unified Highway – ‘Invisible Route XO’ (Single)
American reggae / electronic fusion group Unified Highway (lead singer Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, producer Amp Live formerly of Zion I) deliver their new chilled out single ‘Invisible Route XO’. It’s the fifth and final single off their upcoming album ‘Invisible Route’, dropping October 18th on Ineffable Records. They previously released their double single ‘Pay No Mind / Taking My Time’, which was a joint release with American reggae heavyweights Rebelution.
Shwayze – ‘Shwaycation’ (Album)
Malibu sensation Shwayze (known best for hit songs ‘Corona & Lime’ and ‘Buzzin’) delivers his new album ‘Shwaycation’. Blending influences from alternative, indie pop, hip-hop, and American reggae, the album includes features from Wiz Khalifa, Bryce Vine, Kes, Common Kings, Ripe, and J.Lauryn. This album is the follow up to his highly successful 2022 album Shway SZN, which included standout songs ‘Too Late ft. Dirty Heads’ and ‘Tides ft. Slightly Stoopid & Pepper’. Over the last couple of years Shwayze has dove headfirst into his acting career, landing recurring roles on the shows Abbot Elementary and Lincoln Lawyer. He’ll be taking off for the 21 date headlining Permanent Shwaycation Tour starting in October in promotion of the album.
Claire Wright – ‘Keep Your Old Friends’ (Single)
California alt pop / indie pop songstress Claire Wright delivers her new single ‘Keep Your Old Friends’. Produced by Spencer Thomson of Moon Taxi, this is the first single from her upcoming album. It will be the follow up to her 2023 album ‘Setting Out for the Sun’, which included features from G. Love, Iration, and Surfer Girl. She’s currently on tour with Surfer Girl, and will be joining Moon Taxi for a tour in October.
Mihali – ‘Free Ride’ (Single)
Twiddle singer/guitarist Mihali delivers his new alternative single ‘Free Ride’. Produced by Spencer Thomson of Moon Taxi, this is the fourth single off Mihali’s upcoming album. In 2022 Mihali released his latest solo album ‘Effection’, which included features from some of the biggest names in the American reggae and alternative scenes including SOJA, Iration, Dispatch, The Elovaters, The Movement, Iya Terra and Kitchen Dwellers. He recently completed a tour supporting The Movement, as well as a tour supporting G. Love & Special Sauce, and has a packed remainder of the year playing festivals and solo headline shows.
