Indubious “Wake The Lion” Release

Known for the various blend of genres including roots, reggae, dancehall, rock, and electronic, the boys known as Indubious have coined their own style simply titled “Roots-Tronica” and they have a new album Wake The Lion they’re promoting…

Fronted by brothers Evan “Evton B” Burton (keys and vocals) and Spencer “Skip Wicked” Burton (bass and vocals) and backed by drummer Matty T. Wells, comes South Oregon’s own Indubious.

The trio has released two self-produced albums to date; Fresh Leaves in 2008 and Cosmic Seed in 2010, and on September 24 the band released their third studio album entitled Wake The Lion, an 11 song album produced by the electronic dub artist GAUDI. The album reached as high as #14 on the iTunes Reggae Charts, and includes a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” as well as the band’s first single off the album entitled “Seventh Generation”.

Indubious has experienced a good deal of exposure on the West Coast, and has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Matisyahu, Michael Franti, Pato Banton, and Groundation. So be sure to check out the new album and their single “Seventh Generation”, and don’t forget to “Live Indubiously,” as the Rogue Valley fans like to say.
