Inner Circle, the classic group known for their infamous single “Bad Boys” has now become known to deliver their energy-filled brand of pop-infused Reggae to stages around the world. This spring, Inner Circle will bring their show to several major US markets and festivals.
So far, the group has planned a limited run set for the last two weeks of April. Starting in Houston on April 16th, Inner Circle will play three nights through Texas, also hitting Corpus Christi and Austin. Ashes of Babylon is set to play as direct support on the first two Texas dates. Then the bus will head back east to Florida. Inner Circle will play a night in Pensacola, two nights in Sanford, and several days later, an afternoon show in Daytona Beach.
It has also been announced that Inner Circle will appear at West Palm Beach’s 32nd annual Sunfest. Taking place April 30 through May 4, the event features an handful of Reggae-Rock acts including Sublime with Rome, Rebelution, Dirty Heads, The Wailers. Also on the bill are Rusted Root, Dick Dale, Aer, Streetlight Manifesto, Dropkick Murphys along with a think line-up of national headlining acts and many more!
In Other Inner Circle News, for their latest collaboration with a new-wave reggae artist, the band teamed up with Chronixx, for an updated version of “Tenement Yard,” the classic song the band recorded with the late Jacob Miller in 1976. Recently doing songs with deejay I-Octane and singjay Khago, Roger Lewis, Inner Circle’s co-founder and guitar player, says working with contemporary reggae acts is their way of reaching out to a new generation.
