The LAW frontman discussed the new album “Lawful Evil” which just came out today.
He also talked about the brand new video for “Alien“, And the Sublime movie which he is executive producing with The Nowell Family Foundation.
After recently signing with Regime Music Group and BreakSilence Recordings. Jakob Nowell and Southern California rock quartet LAW have released their latest single “Alien” with an accompanying music video. The video, directed by Eric Burdett. The video features dark circus-like visuals set against the moody harmonies and buzzing synth leads of this angsty pop-rock anthem. You can stream “Alien” on all streaming platforms HERE.
“Alien is about my entire life but also more specifically trying to get along with my bandmates. I hope my frustration comes across in the words and vocal melodies,” commented LAW frontman.

“Alien” is the lead single from LAW‘s new album Lawful Evil. The Album was recorded at J Street Studio in Sacramento. Under the watchful eye of producer Jack O’Donnell and chronicled the segue from LAW to the kickstart of Jakob’s solo career. The album draws listeners into a melancholic world that quickly self-destructs under its own weight. The audience has a front row seat to watch the apocalyptic day-of-reckoning. The album cover art illustrated by Alice Baron and features a baby chimera hatching from an egg to symbolize the new era emerging out of the ashes of Nowell’s former band.
