IRATION have released their new single “New Style”. The band is currently working on their 8th studio album, with plans to release later this year.
IRATION Release New Single “New Style”
“Our new single “New Style” is a song that displays the next progression in our sound: a return to our roots while showcasing the synergy that makes our live shows special. This is the first taste of where we are headed,” said Michael Pueschel.
In addition to getting back in the studio to create new music, Iration joins Rebelution on their Good Vibes Summer Tour 2023. The tour will visit 35+ cities starting June 1, 2023 in Austin Texas, with stops in, St. Augustine, Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Stanford and Phoenix, plus many more cities along the way. Prior to the tour, the band will also perform at BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach CA, and will return to California Roots Festival in Monterey, CA. Tickets are currently on sale for all dates.
Iration weaves a natural affinity for island sounds with a genre-bending appreciation for rock, pop, R&B and funk. Since the band’s formation more than 15 years ago, the celebrated group has racked up more than 1 billion total streams worldwide and established themselves as one of the most popular reggae-rock bands in the world, with their classic songs “Time Bomb” and “Falling” reaching RIAA certified gold status in 2020 and 2021 respectively, with 500,000 copies sold.
Touring nationally since 2008, Iration is known for their captivating live performances. They’ve performed at major music festivals like Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, Cali Vibes Fest, Bottlerock; as well as special performances for the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Kelly Slater, and Senator Bernie Sanders.
A record about being thankful for the moments that we have, Iration’s 7th studio album Coastin’ was released in June 2020 on Three Prong Records.
The album embodies the band’s deeply rooted ‘Aloha’ spirit.
Songs like the title track “Coastin’” and “Guava Lane” showcase how band members Micah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joe Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboards/synth) and Micah Brown (guitar/vocals) and Drake Peterson (trumpet) have perfected their distinct, hybrid style of music.
