The 2nd annual Shoreline Jam Music Festival at the Queen Mary Event Park announced their stellar line up on Monday. On September 1, 2012, gates will open to welcome reggae fans to check out Long Beach Dub Allstars, The Wailers, Black Uhuru, Ballyhoo!, Passafire, The LionsBrewfish, Sono Vero, and Beyond I Sight in Long Beach, California.
The final announcement added Tribal Seeds to the festival line up! In one day, fans can experience a variety of reggae styles including dub, ska, roots, punk, and rock with legends like The Wailers and an exclusive performance by Long Beach Dub Allstars, who disbanded in 2002.
The all ages event welcomes the community to engage in a one-day festival overlooking beautiful Long Beach over Labor Day Weekend. With food and clothing vendors, festival-goers can experience music from a park surrounded by water and the historic Queen Mary. After last year’s sold out event, with headliners including Pepper, Iration, SOJA, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds, this year can only be bigger and better!
With a warm welcoming back in their hometown, Long Beach Dub Allstars are rocking that reggae, punk rock, ska, dub music we grew up with! Their last album, Wonders of the World, was released September 11, 2001 produced by Paul Leary who has been linked to Sublime, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime with Rome, and more. It’s been 11 years since their last release & the festival is an eyelet to what the band has planned for the future so stay in check with The Pier on what LBDAS has planned for Shoreline Jam 2012!
