The Long Beach Dub Allstars were a critical piece of the reggae-rock scene following Sublime’s conclusion in 1996, being one of the biggest bands still pushing the genre forward. Their early performances were captured only by the grainy VHS throw-away cameras that fans used, long before the days of social media platforms like Youtube, Facebook, Instagram or Tik Tok.
After a near 20-year hiatus, the Long Beach Dub Allstars reunited to continue writing chapters of their legacy for both the new and existing generations of reggae-rock lovers to vibe out to together. Their 2020 self titled album debuted at #7 on Billboard’s Reggae Rock chart, and cemented Long Beach Dub Allstars’ legacy as pioneers of the West Coast Sound.
