Coming out of Gainesville, Florida, the four-piece funk-reggae band, Morning Fatty, just released their new album on August 29th, titled Resistance. In addition, we have 2 songs from the album for FREE inside our MP3 Massive…
Resistance, which is the band’s second studio album, was funded using Kickstarter, in which Morning Fatty received donations from 128 people donating a total of $10,135. The album was produced by Roger Lima, bass guitarist and co-vocalist from Less Than Jake, at Moathouse Studios in Gainesville, FL. He also sang back-up harmonies on a few of the tracks.
Here’s what bassist John Papoulis had to say about the new album: “People encounter day-to-day struggles with many forms of adversity (symbolized by the Drones in the album art) which may hinder him or her from attaining goals. The Resistance is pushing through that adversity in order to obtain those goals. The songs on the album are centered around this theme. Topics such as legalization, substance abuse and personal struggles that many people encounter.”
In celebration of their new album, Morning Fatty has agreed to give away 2 of their songs for FREE Download inside our MP3 Massive section. These songs include “Oblivion” & “Live On”, both new songs off Resistance. Go download the music by clicking HERE!
