Here’s what Top Shelf told The Pier about the song:
“Moonlights is the first track off of The Sound. This song came out of a jam that started with just bass and drums. Drew and Chad worked together to create the rhythm of the track long before Korey or I came into the picture. Korey laid down his guitar parts and I took the song home to work on fitting lyrics. I really like what I wrote on this one cause I feel like it is very true to Top Shelf yet still fire! We then let Jim Fox have a little dub session in the song too which I think really fits. I’ve been digging this one for a while now. I hope everyone else bumps it!”
