Hawaii based reggae-rock group, Natural Vibrations, are set to once again hit the road on a headlining tour and they’ll be doing so with a much different line-up. The tour will include stops at KAABOO Festival in San Diego as Natty Vibes will perform alongside No Doubt, The Killers & Slightly Stoopid.
Since 1994, Natty Vibes has put out 6 full length studio albums and has seen their line up change and evolve since forming in O’ahu, Hawaii playing backyard parties. These days, the line up consists of (guitarist/vocalist) Wayne Enos, (vocalist) Chief Ragga, (drummer) Nainoa Nuuhiwa, (trombone/vocals) Jai Rodgers, (saxophone/keyboards) Jabari Prevost and (bassist) Shaka Gray.
The tour kicks off on September 16th in Sacramento, CA and will run through October before the band hits the studio to start recording their new studio album featuring a new drummer, bassist and horn section. In addition to performing at KABOO festival on September 19th, the group will also be performing at Hempfest in Las Vegas, NV on October 3rd where they’ll share the stage with Tommy Chong, Israel Vibrations, Afroman, Westside Connection, Marlon Asher and members of Wutang Clan.
“We’re so stoked to be going back to Sunny Del Mar, which is our home away from home. We feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to share our music at KAABOO Festival 2015 and share the stage with some amazing acts,” said guitarist/vocalist Wayne Enos. “Get your suntan lotion ready because we bringing the fire like da sun when we roll through on tour.”
