New Album ‘Call On Me’ from E.N Young

Reggae’s hardest working musician, E.N Young, is prepared to release his new album Call On Me on April 8, 2016. Call On Me arrives just over a year after Young’s 2015 album Live Love Stay Up. His latest installment accentuates a fresh, pop-reggae vibe, while still featuring a roots-driven sound. And of course, plenty of melodica.

E.N Young established himself as an authority in the reggae community through his tireless work in all aspects of the scene. As a performing musician, E.N Young cut his teeth as member of the band Stranger, before leaving to pursue a solo career and eventually joining on with Tribal Seeds as a keyboardist. Young is also a renowned producer, having worked on countless projects, including Tribal Seeds’ EP SoundWaves and Gonzo’s album Rocksteady. In 2010, Young established his own record label, Roots Musician Records, and has since gone on to open Imperial Sound Recording Studio in his hometown of San Diego, CA.

When E.N Young sleeps is a mystery, but somehow he found time to create his new album Call On Me. As you might expect, the forthcoming album will be released through Young’s label, Roots Musician Records. In addition to a number of previously unheard tracks on Call On Me, E.N Young included a live version of “Don’t Burn Your Bridges,” which appeared on his 2010 debut album Luck & Chance No More. Young and his camp are heralding his new music as his most artistic and free so far, and they believe the new album will be a “bridge for new reggae listeners and a continuing foundation for roots lovers.”

E.N Young will be back on the road this spring with Tribal Seeds for their Spring Harvest Tour. On tour, he will perform as an opener alongside his backing band Imperial Sound, and then jump back on stage with Tribal Seeds to close out each night.
