Rock, Reggae and Hip Hop: Each is definable and recognizable but never before have those forms of musical expression been blended into a sound that is as indefinable as it is recognizable and familiar. This is the best way to describe the Philadelphia quartet known as The Movement.

As mentioned in our 2012 Most Anticipated Albums article, One More Night is 11 total tracks recorded at Black Dog Studios in Stone Mountain, GA with producers Rick Beato & Ken “Grand” Lanyon. This is the groups 3rd Full Length album and their first since, 2008’s Set Sail. This release also marks the first album the group has recorded as a collective unit being that their 2008 Set Sail release was written and recorded before their current Drummer, Bassist & Keyboardist joined the group. New song titles include such tracks as ”One More Night”, “Easy Love”, “Area”, “Lonely at the Top” “Mr. Policeman”, “Talk To Me”, “Across The Bridge”, & “When The Feelings Go Away”.

The Pier got to debut the Cover Art for One More Night in our 2012 Most Anticipated Albums Article and credit goes to Kc Cowan for the design. This should only add to the excitement of new Movement music!

Since 2008’s release of Set Sail, The Movement was featured on The Pier Comp Vol. 1 with an exclusive unreleased song titled “Care (You Dont Even)” in 2009. In addition, they contributed another exclusive unreleased acoustic track titled “Using My Head” that was featured on the Sense Boardwear Acoustic Compilation back in 2010. You can pick up both of these albums inside The Pier Store.
