The Huntington Beach Boys known as Pacific Dub are ready to hit the road hard this summer! On June 15th, the band begins their tour-filled summer with 13 dates on the annual Vans Warped Tour.
This will be P-Dubs first time featured on the tour and according to manager, Chris Hurley, the guys “were thrilled when Warped Tour owner/founder, Kevin Lyman, asked the band to join the tour and perform on the ‘Kevin Says Stage’ through mainly Western and Mid-West markets.”
Once the Warped Tour dates are finished, the band jumps back into full swing with a national headlining tour dubbed the “Red White and Brews Tour.” This tour has 23 dates set to span across the entire nation including stops in Philadelphia, New York City, Atlanta, and Baltimore to name a few.
Since no bands are confirmed to support the entire tour, most dates will showcase local talent, making for a very unique night on each stop along the way.
2013 has proven to be the band’s busiest year yet with plenty of tours and new music in the works. Winter was spent on the Heatseekers Tour supporting Iration and Passafire. They were also featured on The Expendables spring adventures known as the “Life’s A Beach Tour.” Of course, we can’t forget to mention their main stage performance on day 2 of this past year’s California Roots Festival!
As you can see, this band is no stranger to touring and performing in all different types of surroundings. In fact, by summer’s end the band will have already played more shows this year than in all of 2012.
Chris left us with this last message regarding the Red White and Brews show dates. “They will be performing sets of at least 75 minutes, as opposed to their 30 to 45 minute long sets on support shows. Fans will be able to enjoy many of their favorite songs from their entire catalog of music, including ‘Young Girl’ and ‘Foolin Around’ which are acoustic songs written and performed by PDub drummer, David Delaney.”
But wait, there’s more! After summer the band plans to continue writing new music with hopes to drop a new album for the fans as soon as possible. Although, no release date has been confirmed, Pacific Dub is aiming to release their new material by late 2013/early 2014.
