Following their tour together this Fall, Reggae-Rock bands, Passafire and Ballyhoo! will get back out on the road in the New Year, Co-headlining the “BrewHaHa Winter Tour”. Kicking off January 15th, the bands will make 32 stops around the Western side of the States.
Both bands, residents of the East Coast, deliver a unique take on the genre. After years of touring, each band has built a true following of similar fans around the nation. Passafire, hailing form Savannah GA, and Ballyhoo! being from Aberdeen MD, each share differing styles, but their music has lead them down converged paths, including Pepper’s Law Records. Though they have played together on various bills, including 311’s Caribbean Cruise, these two have not yet toured extensively together until last fall.

When the announcement was made for the first east coast leg, social media blew up with west coast fans commenting, insisting the two bands tour together throughout the rest of the nation. Now west coast fans finally get their chance to catch a night of BrewHaHA with Passafire and Ballyhoo, and rounding out the party is the Huntington Beach Alternative-Rock-Reggae outfit, Pacific Dub.
This newly announced touring collaboration follows recent successes of both acts. Passafire has recently joined Easy Star Records for the release of their 5th studio record, Vines. A record that hit #1 on the Billboard Reggae chart.

The Ballyhoo! crew is currently working in the wake of major success with their latest album Pineapple Grenade. Self-released on the band’s new label Right Coast Records, Pineapple Grenade hit #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, #189 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and #5 on the iTunes Alternative Charts.
