Pepper is hitting the road with Rebelution, Sublime with Rome, and Mickey Avalon on an extensive national summer tour. As part of a series of reddit AMA (ask me anything) online interviews with the above bands, Pepper answered a round of questions from their fans.
The Kailua-Kona-based band had drummer Yesod Williams respond to questions and comments Pepper June 5th at 2PM regarding everything from new music in the works to the group’s supposed ‘beef’ with Creed.

Pepper’s Reddit AMA Recap
On a possible collaboration with touring mate Rebelution and the direction of their new music…
“Yes, we might make that happen on the tour this summer. The new album that’s almost done is a lot more reggae, we just love to experiment. I mean on ‘In With The Old’ we had a country song and a metal song, ha!”
With regards to a new album….
“It’s coming. Almost Done recording it. Sounding Epic! Out by Summer’s end”
On one of their favorite bands to play beside…
“We just played a festival with Ice-t’s metal band from the 90’s (Body Count) that was one for the record books!”
On the best band to hang out with…
“I guess if we had to make a choice it would be Iration because they surf the most.”
On the band’s ‘beef’ with alt-rock group Creed…
“No real story, just never a fan of the band so we like to joke around about it, but Scott Stapp did pick a fight with our homies 311 so that is B/S.”
In between touring with the likes of Slightly Stoopid and recording an album with 311’s Nick Hexum (2006’s No Shame), Pepper has built an audience beyond the islands of Hawaii. Their last release, a self-titled record from 2013, was the band’s 6th album together since forming in 1997.
