Rebelution’s 2013 Winter Greens Tour

Rebelution has officially announced the initial dates and details for their annual Winter Greens Tour. But, as usual, Rebelution is bringing along a fully-loaded lineup for their nationwide tour.

Known for introducing amazing acts to the nation, Rebelution’s supporting acts never seem to disappoint, and this tour will be no different. Last year’s supporting act was Hawaii’s The Green. In 2010, fellow Santa Barbara reggae band, Iration, teamed up for the first edition of the Winter Greens Tour. This year’s edition features special guests, J Boog and The Hot Rain Band!

Although, an introduction to J Boog is not necessary. J Boog is more than capable of standing on his own two feet in the music scene, both in the states in Europe. However, the exposure that both J Boog and his backing band, Hot Rain, will receive could be the catalyst for something far greater than either could imagine.

Thus far, the tour is slated for 22-dates around the USA. Although, the upcoming tour will be split in two legs. The first date kicks off in Vegas on Valentines Day, before skirting the South en route to Miami, Florida to play as direct support on the 3rd annual 311 Caribbean Cruise. The second leg of the tour resumes on March 14th with two nights in Ventura, CA, and then travels around the West. For fans in the midwest and northeast, keep your fingers crossed for more dates near your neck of the woods.

Ticket pre-sale prices begin on Monday, December 3rd, and general sales start next Friday. Rebelution, always appreciative of their fans has announced that ticket holders will be able to get into the official after parties inside the venues, presented by HILL KID, Rebelution’s bassist, Marley Williams’ own clothing line and will be hosted by all the bands!

In previous years, Rebelution has held innovative fan contests. They’ve had twitter contests, giving winning fans free tickets and merchandise. As well as contests such as the “Sound Check Sessions,” where winners had the opportunity to attend an exclusive pre-show sound check set.
