On July 12 & 13, 2014 the Reggae Rise Up Festival held a successful outing at their home location of Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a result of it’s success, Reggae Rise Up is extending their party to Tampa, Florida for a 1 day festival on Sept 27th, 2014 at Raymond James Stadium.
Headlining this festival will be Rebelution along with the Grammy award-winning Steel Pulse in addition to Collie Buddz, Zion-I, Ballyhoo!, Rootz Underground, Los Rakas and Stranger! The festival will take place from 12:00pm to 11:00pm & General Admission tickets start at $35 with VIP Passes starting at $100 and last we heard, a limited amount of tickets remain.

The VIP area is said to include an amazing view of the stage in an effort to provide a different angle of perspective to enjoy the show. Fans can expect to see a vendor village with some of Florida’s most unique food trucks accompanied by other local vendors to connect fans to the local businesses in the community.
Coors Light will be the beer sponsor and Reggae Rise Up has teamed up with Tampa Sports Authority and Event Live to provide the best festival experience. In addition, they have attached themselves to The Teal Recovery Project, a non-profit organization that focuses on fundraising, educating and empowering women battling cervical cancer.
Reggae Rise Up has a history putting on successful events as this is their sixth episode of the continuing festival series. Past performing artists include Slightly Stoopid, Matisyahu, Stephen Marley, The Expendables, Dirty Heads, Pepper, Tribal Seeds, J Boog, Eek A Mouse, Easy Star All-Stars and more.
