The peak of the festival season is officially here. While concert-goers are finalizing their plans for what they will be attending, plenty will be penciling in August 24-26 in Salt Lake City as one of the very best lineups of the year has arrived. The 2018 installment of Reggae Rise Up Utah is here, and will feature headlining sets from Rebelution, Atmosphere and SOJA – and that’s only scratching the surface.
Reggae Rise Up no longer needs an introduction, really. The festival continues to fire on all cylinders, as this year marks its 8th installment. RRU kept the tradition going with a March edition earlier this year held at the acclaimed Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, Florida. With the festival continuing to receive a warm reception from attendees and music fans each year, RRUU will feature artists and performances across three days instead of two for the first time.
Rebelution and SOJA return as headliners after lighting up the stage in Vinoy Park in March, but an extra special treat will be a feature set from hip-hop phenoms Atmosphere on August 25.

Reggae Rise Up continues to pave the way for festivals that aspire to offer much more than just music – the overall sentiment of community and togetherness has always been paramount for the festival. Specifically, for the Utah edition, attendees really find themselves surrendering to nature and the beautiful surrounding landscapes of Rivers Edge in Heber City, Utah. But the festival continues to offer up anything you’d need. Fully stocked bars and food options, a vendor village for shopping, general stores and much more are available for RRU attendees to enjoy.
Rivers Edge also accommodates camping and cabin options while offering plenty of hotel rates. From a musical perspective, local support will be strong once again as RRU will bring back a healthy palette of local bands to keep the party going with late night sets – including Funk & Gonzo, Tribe of I, Bludgeon Muffin and more. In fact, all bands providing local support were featured in last year’s lineup and the consensus was that the party never stops.
Tickets are going quickly with several options already sold-out. See you at Rivers Edge, grab your tickets today by clicking HERE!
