One of the most iconic rock bands of all time is bringing their live show to a big screen near you. Los Angeles music legends, The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s, are set to release “I’m With You” the band’s first studio album in five years. But, a new album is not the only gift for their beloved fans…
Spanning nearly three decades, the Chili Peppers have done it all: ten studio albums, seven Grammy Award honors and countless memorable music videos. One area of the mass media world the four-piece musical melting pot has yet to conquer, is the movie theaters.
Coinciding with RHCP’s album release, their live concert at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional on August 30th will be broadcast to movie theaters across the world. Within the performance, the Chili Peppers will play “I’m With You” from the first track to the last, with some oldies but goodies performed, as well.
Clearly, this will not be Hollywood’s typical blockbuster movie. In fact, fans in attendance will most likely have trouble staying seated. But, fans will still have the same tough decision once then enter the theater: Popcorn or Milk Duds?
