Katastro put together Kamp Fest in honor and as a celebration of life for frontman Andy J. Chaves. The band and Chaves Family partnered together on the show, which will take place on Saturday, Feb. 4th, 2023 at Mesa Amphitheatre in Mesa, AZ.

Katastro will be headlining the show and performing a set with some of Andy’s closest friends as guest vocalists. Details for the performance are also going to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets are now on sale online HERE. Tickets are also selling fast with 2-day passes for Kamp Fest already sold out.

Andy Chaves was tragically taken too soon earlier this year in a car accident along with 2 others along Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach, CA. Andy formed Katastro in 2007 in Tempe, AZ with drummer Andrew Stravers, and Tanner Riccio before later adding bassist Ryan Weddle.

They are known for being a fan driven, hard working, lyrically profound alt-rock band led by Andy’s ability to rap and deliver melodic hooks around party anthems.

Since 2007 the band had released 6 full length albums, 2 acoustic records and a couple EP’s. Andy was shown recently in the studio working with members of Dirty Heads as it was reported that the group was writing for a new album before his tragic passing.
