On September 2nd, Shwayze will release his 7th studio album, Shway SZN, and his first with Ineffable Records. He’s released 5 total singles leading up to the album drop with the latest being “Tides” featuring Pepper & Slightly Stoopid.
In addition to Pepper & Stoopid, the 12 track album is expected to feature a whole slew of guest appearances, including Dirty Heads, Rome of Sublime with Rome, Claire Wright, Little Dume, Garrett Nash, The Elovaters, The Hip Abduction & more.

Shwayze, a Malibu, CA native whose real name is Aaron Smith, has a highlight reel that starts in 2008 when he released his debut album Buzzin with singer-producer, Cisco Adler – Remember their hit song “Corona & Lime”? or their reality TV show on MTV? Shwayze continues to find himself in Hollywood to this day with acting credits to his name including a recent appearance as Terrell Coleman on the first season, episode 2 of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer.
For his 7th studio album, Shwayze describes Shway SZN to The Pier as: “Feel good, Cali reggae with a splash of 
Nashville! “I couldn’t be more proud of this album. I made about 40 songs in total and selected the best 12. Every song is special to me, which I can’t say for every album I’ve made.”
Shwayze began the album cycle for Shway SZN back on February 4th when he dropped “Too Late” featuring Jared Watson of Dirty Heads. He followed that up on April 8th with the release of “Planes” featuring The Hip Abduction. His third single came in the form of another collaboration on May 27th, this time with Garret Nash on “Breathe In.”
With the start of summer, he released the aptly titled “Slice of Sunshine” with the lovely Claire Wright. And here we are inching closer to his new record with the July 22nd drop of the 5th song, “Tides,” featuring Slightly Stoopid & Pepper. This is his last single that will take us into the Sept 2nd album drop.
