When Ras MG says he’s putting out a single with the likes of Slightly Stoopid & Jud Nester, we listen! Where would we be without Sublime hits, “Doin’ Time”, “April 29th 1992 (Miami), “What I Got”, “Smoke Two Joints” and “Get Out”!? Goodman was critical in the artistic direction & writing for Sublime, in addition to his drumming, scratching & sampling elements that we know & recognize from Sublime, today!

Now, 25 years after Ras MG & Brad Nowell first embarked on their musical odyssey that produced the aforementioned hits, he’s teamed up with Slightly Stoopid & Jud Nester for his single debut. “It’s the beginning of a musical journey that I hope any fan of the Southern California music that Sublime trail-blazed and Long Beach Dub Allstars advanced, will recognize and enjoy,” shares Goodman.

Miles Doughty of Slightly Stoopid adds, “Ras MG’s knowledge in music and life make it easy to work and blend so many styles together. Fusing blues, hip hop, reggae and anything else he can get his hands on, he elevates the rhythms allowing us to capture the vibes.” words_back4

This may be Goodman’s debut single, but he’s been busy over the years working with the likes of Good Charlotte, will.i.am, KRS-One, Wailing Souls, Barrington Levy, Half Pint and Unwritten Law. He co-wrote, arranged, and provided drum programming for Slightly Stoopid’s hit “Top of the World,” and was the featured drummer on Skunk Records’ 25th Anniversary recent all-star live sets.
