Fans of the softer side of Reggae music are in for a treat as the Sono Vero boys have recently dropped a brand new lover’s anthem titled, “Never Say Goodbye”. The newest single has been released in preparation for their upcoming EP, Roses For The Reckless, and is currently available for FREE!
“Never Say Goodbye”, along with the rest of the EP, was recorded near the California coast at 17th Street Recording Studios in Costa Mesa. The man behind the production and engineering of Sono Vero’s newest musical composition is none other than Mr. Lewis Richards. In addition, the song was co-written with Moi Ses of Tomorrows Bad Seeds, who also adds back up vocals on the track.
The Pier was able to catch up with Sono Vero’s lead singer, Charlie Ueda, to obtain more information on the new single. True to his past writing processes, Charlie explained that the song was about a girl he had spent time with before summer had started. “This song is very personal and the verses describe actual moments that I shared with her. She already knows it is about her so it is not too awkward. Haha,” added Charlie.
As for their second EP, Roses For The Reckless, it is set to drop early December of this year. Although there is no finalized release date, the band assures that they will be announcing its official release within the next week or 2 through their various social media outlets. Once it is released, the band plans to start touring in support of their new EP. Most of all, they are excited to “buckle down” and begin writing material for their first full-length.
