Surfer Girl Unveils Final Single Before ‘Sunset’ Album Release

As a final preview before their upcoming album Sunset drops on April 18th, Surfer Girl has teamed up with Jamaican rising star Jah Lil and Grammy-nominated producer J-Vibe for a fresh take on their track “Collecting Dust (J-Vibe Version).”

The Boston-turned-LA-based pop-alt-reggae band, fronted by Carter Reeves (formerly of the hit group Aer), is building momentum for their highly anticipated album release. This new version of “Collecting Dust” brings a fresh perspective, with J-Vibe’s polished reggae production elevating the track’s laid-back yet soulful energy. Jah Lil’s signature sound adds an authentic Jamaican touch, blending seamlessly with Surfer Girl’s melodic style.

The Sunset album rollout has been packed with exciting collaborations, featuring “Rush Hour” with Bryce Vine, “Ghost” with Collie Buddz, “Don’t Go” with Khalia, as well as “Drift” and the original “Collecting Dust.”

On the road, Surfer Girl has been keeping busy. After wrapping up a 40+ date headlining tour last year, they’re currently out supporting The Elovaters, with another run alongside DENM on the horizon. With Sunset just around the corner and a stacked tour schedule, 2024 is already proving to be a major year for the band.

Stream “Collecting Dust (J-Vibe Version)” now, and mark your calendars for Sunset, arriving April 18th!
