Eli-Mac is currently working with Up Above Records to come out with an album.

“The Collision” is a collaboration tour featuring a headline performance from The Green with vocalist J Boog joining the band on stage for each show. “We’ve been touring for years and we’ve never done anything like this before,” says singer-guitarist Zion Thompson. “This will be a special showcase of island reggae music featuring The Green, J Boog, and Eli-Mac. Bringing this live to the people is like a dream come true for us.”

For two nights at The Republik in Honolulu, HI, The Green will be performing with special guest Eli-Mac on October 31 and November 1. The tour with J Boog & Eli-Mac officially kicks off on Nov 11th in San Luis Obispo, CA before hitting Oregon, Washington, Canada, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and back to Cali to wrap up on Dec 3rd at the El Rey Theatre in LA & Dec 4th at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. Also, the sold out 311 Caribbean Cruise just announced The Green to be included in the lineup. It sets sail on February 25, 2015, departing from Miami, FL and heading to Jamaica.

This six piece, originally consisting of members from different bands in Oahu, HI (Caleb Keolanui, Zion Thompson, JP Kennedy, Ikaika Antone, Brad “BW” Watanabe, and Jordan Espinoza) have only been around since 2009, but have dominated charts throughout the last five years. Their debut self-titled album won iTunes Reggae Album of the Year and the sophomore release Ways And Means debuted at #1 on both the Billboard Reggae Chart and iTunes. The latest album Hawai’i ’13, released August (2013) on Easy Star Records accelerated them to the top of the charts once again.

The Green has also won several awards, including Reggae Album of the Year at The 2013 Pier Awards. For more information on the tour or the Halloween show, check out the links below and see the beautiful Eli-Mac’s video for “Dupstop”.
