This weekend, The Pier will be hosting the official Artist Meet and Greet at the 12th Annual Summer Meltdown Festival at the Santa Clarita Skate Park in Santa Clarita, CA. The festival is for Autism Awareness with Yes I Can! See which artists we’ll be doing the Meet and Greets with at The Pier booth…
One of our more enjoyable things to host at an event is the Artist Meet and Greets. There’s something special about being able to meet the souls behind the music that may have changed your life. Some of my best personal experiences were getting a chance to have my picture taken while thanking the artist for their wonderful music.
The Pier has been hosting Artist Meet and Greets at various festivals and events over the last 8 years. This will be our first of 2015 as we’re excited to once again host Pepper and The Expendables!
Pepper’s Meet and Greet will take place from 5:00 – 5:45pm with The Expendables going from 7:00 – 7:45pm.
We’re also very excited for this Meet and Greet because it’ll be the first time we’ve hosted one with Nahko and Daniel Bambatta Marley.
Nahko will be from 6:00pm – 6:45pm and Bob Marley’s grandson and the eldest child of Ziggy Marley will Meet and Greet with fans from 4:00pm – 4:45pm.

Photographer, David Norris will be on hand to take high quality photos of you with the artists. Because we anticipate a long line of fans with only 45 short minutes, we will not be allowing selfies, but please bring any merchandise you want them to sign. Norris will do the rest in making sure you have high quality pictures to remember the experience by. We’ll grab your email and send you a link to download your photos. This is no extra charge to your admission, this is not a VIP pass, you just have to wait patiently in line and be courteous to those behind you so they have a chance to meet and greet before the time allows.
If you’re in the southern CA area and have nothing going on April 25th, come out and enjoy some live reggae-rock music with 4 FREE Artist Music and Greets. Just by purchasing a ticket, you’ll be supporting Autism Awareness as all proceeds will go towards its research and awareness.
