Bob Marley & The Wailers – Live Forever

Recorded 30 years ago while Marley was touring in support of his album Uprising, the Live Forever is Bob Marley’s last recorded concert and is out now as Bob Marley & The Wailers – Live Forever: The Stanley Theatre, Pittsburgh, PA, September 23, 1980 (out via UMe/Tuff Gong International).
The set is a 2CD/3LP/digital collection that features many of Bob’s most cherished songs such as No Woman No Cry, Jammin’, and Is This Love, among others. The spectacular audio documentary Live Forever, also immortalizes the last song Marley ever performed live in concert: Get Up Stand Up, his rally cry for equality.


Matisyahu – Live At Stubb’s Vol. 2

On a hot August night in Austin, TX, Matisyahu took the stage at the famed music venue Stubb’s with his band, Brooklyn’s The Dub Trio, for an unforgettable live music experience. Showcasing his impressive artistic evolution, Matisyahu unveiled brand new song Open The Gates and performed songs that span his lauded catalogue, including selections from 2004?s Shake Off The Dust…Inviting the intimate crowd to join him in documenting the extraordinary energy in the room that evening, he and his audience created the musical time capsule that is now Live at Stubb’s Vol. II.

Chris Boomer – I Am Who I Am

Chris Boomer Unchangco was “discovered” so to speak by Jacob Hemphill of SOJA while the band was touring the island. After hearing Boomer play at a bar, Hemphill introduced himself and the two struck up a fast friendship. Together Boomer and Hemphill co-wrote You and Me for Soja’s album Born in Babylon, which ultimately became one of the most downloaded songs of 2009. Afterward, Boomer began production on I Am Who I Am. The album’s breezy riddims and Hemphill’s traditionalist production technique create an ornate backdrop for Chris Boomer’s thick, soulful voice.
