Update from Tomorrows Bad Seeds!

It had been a while since we heard from the guys in Tomorrows Bad Seeds, so we took it upon ourselves to get the scoop on what they have been up to. Frontman, Moi, had no problem giving us a fresh update to share with you, the fans!

The 5-man band from South Bay Los Angeles has been in their personal studio known as “Suite 16” putting together their newest EP titled, “V”(5). With summer’s end rapidly approaching, the band has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on their 5-song release . In addition, “V” will be available as a FREE download for 2 weeks before it goes up on iTunes!

According to Moi, the band has been playing shows all over the nation since 2007 and as a result, they decided to take a year off of major touring while still booking festivals and smaller show dates. On August 31st, you can catch the band in Long Beach, California, playing alongside Pepper, The Expendables, J-Boog and Fishbone at the Shoreline Jam Festival. Moi explains, “The show is practically in our own backyard so it’s more like a family BBQ. Can’t wait for this one.”

Moi has managed to stay busy while not on tour by writing new music with Tomorrows Bad Seeds, pursuing his own side projects, and collaborating with other reggae artists. He just finished helping the Sono Vero boys by adding harmonies on a few tracks off their newest EP to be released soon.

More recently, Moi has been featured on a new single with Natural Heights, an upcoming band based out of Riverside, California. The song is titled “Reggae Stylee” and when we asked Moi what kind of vibe to expect from the song he replied, “It’s a good Southern California beach vibe you can smoke, dance & make babies too. Spread the seed.”

“Reggae Stylee” was self produced, written, and recorded by Natural Heights at California Sound Studios. This band has been making noise in the underground scene for a while and is ready to emerge into the spotlight. Natty Heights is currently in the studio working on a new album and will be added to our MP3 Massive section soon!

Don’t forget Tomorrows Bad Seeds will be dropping their EP, “V,” in the very near future!
