Makua Rothman has been busy in 2024. The songwriter and pro-surfer released “HOOKED” March 15 amid filming schedules for a new network TV show “RESCUE: HI Surf” – a lifeguard drama set in the legendary beaches of his hometown on the North Shore of Oahu. Island vibes carry over to the new video for “HOOKED,” which features snippets of Rothman dropping into massive waves from the pro-surf circuit. The WSL World Champion Big Wave surfer says fans can expect more new music coming this summer.
