Courtesy of Jeff Pliskin of Raised Fist Propaganda, here is Slightly Stoopid‘s new music video for their new single “The Prophet”. The song is off the 6/30 release of their new album, Meanwhile… Back At The Lab. The original version of the song was recorded 20 years ago featuring Brad Nowell of Sublime on bass. Now 20 years later and Brad Nowell is featured in Slightly Stoopid’s new music video for the updated version of the song with footage taken from home VHS tapes of Nowell jamming with Stoopid’s Miles Doughty at his home. Miles, who lives in Ocean Beach, CA, told EW that him and Brad would “sit there for hours jamming. It was cool going through the old VHS tapes and finding the original ‘Prophet’ jams from my pad. To see the journey the song has gone through to get where it is today… I think Brad would be stoked! We miss him and his music.” You can pick up Slightly Stoopid’s new album Meanwhile… Back At The Lab by clicking HERE! Enjoy the song and video and make sure you watch it to the end…
