In celebration of the culture and unity of cannabis, Yaadcore has released the Treesonable EP to commemorate the holiday this April 20. This five track, marijuana inspired works is the artist’s first official compilation since the 2022 Reggaeland album. As a distinguished and experienced connoisseur of ganja, the EP expresses Yaadcore’s profound ability to reason about all things herb, delivered in his signature roots-reggae style.
“To how dem still a fight ganja, this EP speaks on that. Making marijuana illegal is one of the biggest treasons against humanity,” says Yaadcore. “That is my inspiration and reasoning for the title, so this 420 I wanted to pay respects to the Empress plant, and share some works in livication to the healing and power of such an ostracized medicine. It’s nature’s gift to us and we just celebrate that miracle.”
The EP comes just in time for global 420 festivities. Treesonable includes two brand new tracks produced by Bob Riddim and Panta Son, with dub versions mixed by Laurent “Tippy I” Alfred. Presented by Delicious Vinyl Island and 12 Yaad Records, it captures Yaadcore’s iconic ganja-meets-reggae vibe that he has been affiliated with since his early days in music. Timely and true, Treesonable is a soliloquy to the mystic herbs and a must-listen for all who celebrate the holiday.
