Austin’s longest-running reggae tradition is stepping into its boldest chapter yet. The Austin Reggae Festival returns April 17–19, 2026 at Auditorium Shores with a stacked lineup and new co-ownership under the Reggae Rise Up banner—signaling both continuity and expansion for one of Central Texas’ most beloved cultural institutions.
The 2026 lineup reads like a cross-section of reggae’s past, present, and future. Headlining the weekend are Stephen Marley, Original Koffee, and Iration, three artists whose careers reflect reggae’s global reach and stylistic range. Founded in 1994 as a tribute to Bob Marley, Austin Reggae Festival has long balanced celebration with purpose—raising funds for the Central Texas Food Bank while fostering community through music.
