Sublime Announce Return to Legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre for Two Nights in April 2027

Long Beach ska-punk legends Sublime are heading back to one of the most iconic concert venues in the world, announcing two nights at Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre on April 17 and 18, 2027.

Sublime are set to make their return to the breathtaking Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, for a special two-night engagement on Saturday, April 17 and Sunday, April 18, 2027. The announcement marks another milestone for the influential Long Beach trio.

The upcoming performances follow Sublime’s previous sold out headlining appearances at Red Rocks in 2025 and 2026, further establishing the legendary outdoor venue as a special destination for the band and their devoted fanbase. Last year, the band performed their five-times-platinum-certified 1996 self-titled album in its entirety, so we’re anxiously awaiting an announcement about what Sublime has in store for this year’s setlists and how they plan to differentiate the two shows.

Sublime’s relationship with Red Rocks dates back to 2024, when the band made a surprise guest appearance alongside Stick Figure during a multi-day Colorado run. The following year, Sublime returned to headline a sold out show the venue on April 18, 2025, with The Elovaters, DENM and Jesse James Pariah. There’s no word yet on who will be opening these two upcoming shows, but with the stellar lineup of artists joining Sublime aboard the Sublime Cruise, we’re excited to see who the band will bring along for these special performances at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

In April 2026, Sublime took things a step further with two special performances celebrating the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking 1996 self-titled album. The first night featured the band performing the iconic record in its entirety, while the second delivered a career-spanning collection of fan favorites.

Since Jakob Nowell officially joined the band in late 2023, Sublime have experienced a remarkable revival, introducing their genre-defying blend of reggae, punk, ska and hip-hop to a new generation while reconnecting with longtime fans.

The band’s return has been about more than nostalgia. Sublime have enjoyed renewed success at alternative radio, with their single “Ensenada” spending eight consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart. The momentum continued with “Until the Sun Explodes,” another chart-topping single that helped usher in a new era for the group.

The band’s latest album, Until the Sun Explodes, marked their first full-length collection of new material with Jakob at the helm, bridging the unmistakable spirit of Sublime’s original sound with a fresh creative direction.

With a catalog that includes timeless classics like “Santeria,” “What I Got,” “Wrong Way” and “Doin’ Time,” Sublime remain one of the most influential acts to emerge from Southern California’s alternative music scene. Their music has transcended generations, and the addition of Jakob has brought new energy to a legacy that began more than three decades ago.

Nestled between towering sandstone formations in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular outdoor concert venues in the world.

With a capacity of approximately 9,500 and a natural acoustic environment unlike any other, the venue has hosted legendary performances from artists ranging from The Beatles and U2 to countless contemporary rock, reggae and alternative acts.

For Sublime, whose music has always carried a laid-back Southern California spirit, the venue provides a fitting backdrop for two nights of reggae grooves, punk rock energy and singalong anthems under the Colorado sky.
