Iration’s Lei’d Back Tour Update…

Iration’s Lei’d Back Tour Update…

Iration is on their annual Lei’d Back Fall tour with Tomorrows Bad Seeds & Through The Roots. The Pier was able to catch up with bassist Adam Taylor to ask what fans can expect on this tour. Including new songs & venues/cities they’re excited to play, lets see what Adam had to say…

A lot can happen in 6 weeks and with a line up that includes 3 stellar groups in Iration, Tomorrows Bad Seeds & Through The Roots, we wanted to get a little more insight as to what we can expect on tour. Iration bassist, Adam Taylor was quick to hit us back with his excitement regarding the tour. Here’s a few Q&A we were able to sneak in with Adam while on tour…

The Pier: Will Iration be playing any new songs? If so, which song titles should fans look out for?
Yes, we’ll be jamming two brand new tracks on this tour. We’re pretty excited to be giving away these songs for free to our fans. You can get “Undertow” by joining our street team via Fancorps (by clicking HERE) and performing a few simple tasks like putting up flyers or posting on Facebook or Twitter. You can get “No Time” emailed to you by submitting your email address at our merch booth on our Irator iPad, and be jamming it on your way home from the show which is pretty cool.

The Pier: Not a bad deal at all! Which cities/venues is the group excited to play? Are there any places on tour the group hasn’t been before?
We’re really excited to play some of the big cities like New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Seattle. We’re also stoked to be playing back to back shows at House of Blues San Diego, CA which we’ve never done so that’ll be exciting. I believe Toledo, Ohio is the only city on the tour we haven’t been so that should be cool too.

The PIer: How did the line up for the tour come about?
We wanted to bring out two bands that we respected musically and that would round out the overall package and flow of the show. Through The Roots is a solid reggae band and Tomorrows Bad Seeds adds more of a rocker edge, which complement the whole evening of music really well. So far the fan reaction to all the bands has been really positive so we’re amped to continue on with both of them.

Thank you so much Adam for taking the time out to answer a few questions!
