Authority Zero to Release 7th Studio Album

On December 7th, 2018, Authority Zero will release its 7th studio album, Persona Non Grata, their first studio self-release since their debut EP, Patches In Time over 17-years-ago.

Vocalist Jason Devore says, “The writing process for recording our new album (Persona Non Grata) was simply awesome. The music and lyrical content came together so organically in such a short amount of time given that our last record, Broadcasting To The Nations, only came out a year ago. Mike, Dan, Chris, and I put our hearts into this one and we are all extremely proud of the work we were able to do as a collective. The music and sound are classic Authority Zero but with a slightly revised approach. For the fans as well as ourselves we strive to give each record its own individual character and life.”

Based out of Mesa, AZ, Authority Zero has been kicking up their own unique blend of anthemic melodic punk, ska, and reggae since 1994. While the group has had a slew of line-up changes over their 24 year career, the band has been anchored by front-man Jason Devore who continues to lead them into what will be their 7th studio album.

On release day, and after they return from Japan, the band will play a free acoustic set in Tempe, AZ at Zia Records at 7pm. The following day, December 8th, the band will play an album release party at the Marquee Theater, in Tempe. These shows will be followed by an early spring European Tour in 2019 followed by a summer headlining tour in the U.S.
