Badfish Release First Ever Original Music With “High With You” Featuring Little Stranger

bad fish

bad fishRenowned for their electrifying live celebrations of the Sublime legacy, Badfish is set to make waves of their own with the release of their debut single, “High With You” available now via Ineffable Music Group.

After years of nonstop touring and paying homage to Sublime, the Rhode Island quartet is venturing into new territory, introducing their original music to the world. “High With You” is a dreamy reggae-rap song that features Little Stranger, waxing poetic on lazy, smoke-filled days with someone close.

With years of nonstop touring performing the music of Sublime under their belt, Badfish is now adding a new element to their landscape… writing and releasing their own music! Band members Patrick Downes (guitar, lead vocals), Scott Begin (drums, backing vocals), Dan E.T. (keyboards, guitar, trumpet), and Joel Hanks (bass) conceived Badfish as a live celebration of the spirit of the Sublime legacy without the costuming of typical tribute bands. Their intent has always been to deliver authentic and heartfelt performances of the music that touched them as musicians and fans alike. Badfish regularly headlines theaters across the US and has cultivated a dedicated following most commonly reserved for label-driven, mainstream acts. With a lifetime of perpetual refinement, Badfish is regarded as a mainstay of the American reggae scene sharing the stage with some of the top bands in the industry. With an open road ahead, Badfish is excited to bring their original material to the fans who have long supported them in their reverence for Sublime’s music. Alongside this dedicated community that continues to grow year after year, Badfish is high with excitement at the opportunity to add their stamp to their already unforgettable live performance.

Badfish will embark on ‘High With You Tour’ with Bumpin Uglies, Kash’d Out, and Grieves starting January 5th of 2024 and the tour will run through March crisscrossing the country.
